A new treatment, at an introductory price

Plasma pen is a new addition to Kate's treatments, and she is offering introductory prices while she builds her portfolio. Before-and-after photos are taken as part of each appointment. You can book directly, or if you would like to talk it through first, Kate offers a free 30 minute consultation.

What is plasma pen?

Plasma pen uses a fine handheld device to create tiny, precise points of plasma energy just above the skin's surface. This encourages the skin to tighten and renew as it heals, softening the appearance of hooded eyelids, under-eye crepiness, and crow's feet.

Kate uses the Phi Ion Pro device, and every appointment begins with time to talk through your goals and check the treatment is right for you. Results develop gradually as the skin renews over the following weeks.

Treatment areas

Each appointment is 2 hours, allowing time for preparation, treatment, and photos. A maximum of two areas is treated in one session, so your skin can heal comfortably.

Upper Eyelids

2 hours

Targets loose or hooded skin on the upper eyelids, helping the eye area look more open and refreshed without surgery.

Lower Eyelids

2 hours

Softens crepey texture and fine lines beneath the eyes, for a smoother, brighter-looking under-eye area.

Crow's Feet

2 hours

Focuses on the fine lines at the outer corners of the eyes, helping to soften their appearance as the skin tightens and renews.

Upper Eyelids + Crow's Feet

2 hours

Two areas in one session, treating hooded upper eyelids and the fine lines at the outer corners of the eyes together.

Lower Eyelids + Crow's Feet

2 hours

Two areas in one session, treating crepey skin beneath the eyes and the fine lines at the outer corners together.

What to expect

Before

Kate begins with a short conversation about your goals and health history. A numbing cream is applied to keep the treatment comfortable. A consent form is sent to you when you book.

Recovery

Small carbon crusts form on the treated area and usually fall away within 5 to 10 days. Some swelling is normal for the first few days, so please allow for a short recovery period.

Results

The skin continues to tighten and renew over the following weeks. Results vary from person to person, and Kate will talk you through what is realistic for you.

Plasma pen questions

What is non-surgical blepharoplasty?

Blepharoplasty is the surgical name for eyelid surgery. Non-surgical blepharoplasty uses a plasma pen instead, encouraging the skin around the eyes to tighten as it heals, with no cutting and no general anaesthetic.

Does plasma pen hurt?

A numbing cream is applied before treatment, so most clients describe a warm, prickling sensation rather than pain. Kate checks in with you throughout.

How long is the recovery?

Most clients see the small crusts fall away within 5 to 10 days, with some swelling in the first few days. Kate will give you clear aftercare guidance to follow at home.

Can I have all three areas treated at once?

A maximum of two areas is treated in a single session, so your skin can heal comfortably. If you would like all three areas treated, Kate can plan this across two appointments.

Is plasma pen suitable for everyone?

Not everyone is suitable. Plasma pen is not offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over active skin infections or cold sores, or if you are prone to keloid scarring. Kate will check your suitability at the start of your appointment, or you can book a free consultation first.
